Luis & Isabel Gachuzo
Owner & Office Manager
With over 20 years experience as a quality craftsman, Luis is our fearless leader. Our clients are confident in his problem solving skills and quality work and at the end of one project are often heard saying “schedule me in next year for the next project!” What he started as a one man company, with his faithful wife at his side, has grown significantly by the word of mouth of pleased clients. He is married to Isabel and they have two boisterous boys. When he is not problem solving Luis enjoys spending time with his family either fishing early in the morning, singing around the fire or in hotter seasons, going for a swim.
Behind the scenes and having never met a stranger, you’ll find Isabel. She’s Luis’ wife and the other half of our leadership team. She has been faithfully cheering Luis on from the get go. She enjoys designing custom spaces with her clients and makes friends in the process. When she is not searching for the perfect tile or homeschooling her boys, she enjoys spending time with her family either cooking, baking, watching a Christmas movie (yes, all year long) or making fancy coffees and treats to share.
Mati Hedlund
Administrative Assistant
Mati is new to the Imagine Renovations operation and has been a very welcome asset to the team. She works diligently to keep everyone organized. She loves to learn and you can often find her asking lots of questions and jotting down her notes amongst the crew. She’s a talented artist and has a great eye for color and design. When she’s not on the job, she enjoys spending time with her husband, perusing antique shops, finding the best treasures and tasty cups of coffee in the area. She loves gardening and cheering on the Cowboys, Capitals and Mavericks!
Jaime de la Torre
Project Manager
Jaime, a.k.a. Mr. Picture has been a member of Imagine Renovations since early on. He has an extensive background in plumbing and home renovations with over 20 years of experience. He enjoys tasty treats and coffee. In his downtime Jaime enjoys going camping and spending time with his family and grandson. Never one to shy away from the camera, you will find Jaime posing with the biggest smile and if we’re lucky he’ll do a dance too.
Juan Arandas
Exteriors
Juan has been with Imagine Renovations from the early days. He has over 30 years of experience in home renovations and construction and is an expert in patios, decks and outdoor kitchens. If you want an oasis in your space, look no further than Juan to help make your dreams come true. Juan enjoys spending time with his wife and family when he is not imagining new renovations.
Tomas Sanchez
Project Manager
Tomas comes from a long line of electricians. He has found a place on the Imagine Renovations team and takes great pride in seeing a project through from start to finish. When he is not working Tomas enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He is also known to make excellent carne asada along with knowing all the lyrics to all the songs. You’ll find him happily singing on any job site.
Homero Benitez
Interiors
Homero is our expert when it comes to interior finishes. He trained as in his native Mexico and has found a niche in making spaces perfectly finished out. He takes pride in his craftsmanship and will make sure the space is just right. When he is not working on client projects you will find him working on his own home projects. He enjoys spending time with his wife and eating out or watching a movie. He also makes a pretty mean rack of ribs!
Cruz Guana
Crew
Cruz has worked in home renovations and construction for many years. He takes great care to complete a project thoroughly and with exactness. He enjoys going for peaceful walks in the park, watching futbol and always has great one liners.
Jose Manuel Garcia
Crew
Jose Manuel has worked in home renovations for many years. He specializes in interiors and can work a pair of stilts like no other. He enjoys a good match of futbol and spending time with family and friends. He enjoys a good cup of coffee and delicious tres leches in the friendly Imagine Renovations work environment.
Carlos “Charlie” Alejos
Carpenter
Charlie is an old family friend to Isabel, having grown up as her honorary older brother since she was a mere five years old. He is a quality carpenter and is meticulous with his work. Having studied architecture in his native Mexico, he has applied his knowledge to building quality pieces for over 25 years. His genuine love for others exudes when you’re around him. When he’s not creating, he enjoys spending time with his family, caring for the people that surround him and is a faithful man of prayer. Need prayer? Call Charlie!
Pablo Reyna
Mason
Pablo is our expert mason with over 40 years of experience as a builder and worker in stone. His knowledge is invaluable to our team and his cheerful attitude always makes him a pleasure to work with. He is proud to work with Imagine Renovations and like to read and rest in his down time as well as spend time with his son and grandkids.
Candido Castro
Countertop Fabricator
Candido is our countertop specialist who goes through several steps to make sure your countertops turn out just right. From choosing the right slab, special cuts, fabrication, and sealing – Candido uses his precision and artistry to create a polished final product. He really enjoys working with Luis and spending time with his wife and 4 daughters.
Edward Casanova
Master Plumber
It’s always nice to have a master plumber on hand, and we consider ourselves lucky to have Edward on our team. It doesn’t matter how pretty a bathroom looks if your plumbing isn’t operational! He makes sure your pipes and lines are running according to plan. When not working on plumbing endeavors he likes to spend time with his wife, 2 daughters and 5 grandkids.
